Sigmastar Smart Display Chip Series

SSD202D/SSD201

The SSD202D and SSD201 are highly integrated embedded SoCs released by SigmaStar. Built on a dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor at 1.2GHz, they integrate an H.264/H.265 video encoder, with on-chip 64MB DDR2 or 128MB DDR3 memory, a 2D graphics engine, Ethernet MAC & PHY, and an audio codec. The chips support TTL/MIPI display interfaces with a maximum resolution of 1080P, and feature Secure Boot plus AES/DES/3DES cryptographic engines. System security is guaranteed via security mechanisms and identity authentication, preventing unauthorized tampering.

The SSD20X series is widely deployed in smart building intercom, smart home control panels, elevator displays, IP broadcasting and other scenarios, making it ideal for product upgrades requiring additional HMI interaction. Benefiting from its memory advantages, the SSD202D is extensively used in electric vehicle instrument clusters, and its circular screen adaptation solutions meet the requirements of various vehicle models.

SSD210

The SigmaStar SSD210 is a highly integrated embedded SoC designed for smart display and human-machine interaction (HMI). Powered by a dual-core ARM Cortex‑A7 processor at 1GHz, it integrates on-chip 64MB DDR2, an ISP, 2D graphics engine, JPEG encoder and audio codec. It supports TTL/serial RGB display interfaces with a maximum resolution of 1280×800@60fps, while the ISP processes 1080P@30fps video input. The chip supports Secure Boot and integrates AES/DES/3DES hardware encryption engines, ensuring system security and resisting malicious tampering through security protocols and identity verification.

Typical applications: Aftermarket automotive display terminals, smart home appliance control panels, smart home central control, building intercom, elevator displays, industrial HMI, access control displays, and all kinds of HMI-equipped smart terminals.

SSD2381

The SigmaStar SSD2381 is a high-performance embedded SoC for smart display and AI interaction. It is equipped with a quad-core ARM Cortex‑A55 processor at 1.5GHz, integrating a Mali‑G52E GPU and a 3TOPS NPU, and supports 4K H.265/H.264 encoding and decoding. It supports external DDR3/DDR4/LPDDR4 (up to 32Gb), with MIPI CSI/HDMI Rx input and LVDS/MIPI display output, compatible with resolutions from 1080P to 4K. The SoC supports Secure Boot and features built-in AES/DES/3DES hardware encryption engines, protecting system integrity and preventing unauthorized modification via security mechanisms and identity authentication.

It features a quad-core ARM Cortex‑A55 processor (1.4–1.8GHz), integrating a Mali‑G52 GPU and a 3TOPS NPU, and supports 4K@30fps H.265/H.264 codec. It supports DDR4/LPDDR4 (up to 32Gb), with MIPI CSI/HDMI Rx input and MIPI DSI/LVDS/TTL display output, covering 1080P–4K resolutions. Equipped with Secure Boot and built-in AES/DES/3DES hardware encryption engines, it ensures system security and prevents illegal tampering through security mechanisms and identity verification.
