Amiccom Electronics, founded in 2005, is a chip design company specializing in the wireless communication field. Its management and technical team have decades of experience in the RF industry. The ISM (Industrial, Scientific, and Medical) band is a series of radio frequencies defined by ITU-R. As the name implies, it is freely open for use by industrial, scientific, and medical institutions. The most significant feature of these bands is that they require no license, allowing users to transmit data freely, though with power limitations (typically below 1W) to avoid interfering with other wireless communication systems. Originally not designed for communication, the ISM band now supports many short-range, low-power, license-exempt (or license-exempt tolerant) communication systems, making it the most widely applied scenario.
